The Skinny on CBD Oil
Description/Objectives of the Course
This course explores the use on CBD oil for physiological and mental health and also how it may be helpful in healing from the trap of substance use.
After giving a brief historical timeline of CBD oil use, this course discusses what it is and what it is not. An overview of the endocannabinoid system is presented. Potential health benefits and risks are discussed, as well as knowing what to look for if one wants to purchase a CBD oil product that is safe to use (not brand related). Drugs which interact with cannabis are presented and potential issues with CBD oil use and recovering addicts are also discussed.
