Thanksgiving has come and gone and now it is the season for other holidays – depending on your culture, ethnicity, religious preferences, etc. The year-end brings mixed blessings. We have celebrations, gifts, outpourings of love, but it is a time for stress and erratic behavior by some.
Depression is commonplace at this time of year. This may also trigger violent behavior, trauma, post-trauma, suicide attempts, and more. Not to despair – there are lots of things you can do about it naturally.

In studying giving, it is worth mentioning that leaders who give most of themselves to their teams find they perform well and give more of themselves on the job. Tit for tat? Certainly not the negative kind. Giving, goodness, and kindness rub off on others.
There are other benefits of giving – it makes us feel good. It is good for our health. It is hard to stay angry at someone who is gifting you with something! Giving on a personal level (as well as on-the-job) is contagious – it spreads to others.
I may not need more gifts. But I always need anything that helps me grow and become a better human being.
